Evaporative air cooling system

Man has always built things to protect himself from the heat and the harsh sun. From crude earthenware to modern-day air cooling solutions, the process of generating cool air by the process of evaporation has been a constant in this process. The technique is especially useful in areas where the heat is high and the humidity is low, especially in countries like the Indian subcontinent.

The evaporative cooling system works on the basic principle of evaporation. The water falls in a continuous stream over pads which turns the water into vapor when it comes in contact with the outside warm air. So the air that flows inside consists of this cool, dry air lowering down the temperatures of the insides of a room. Since the water is cold, it also helps to maintain the humidity levels of a place consistently.

Over time, the raw materials used for making pads for these evaporative cooling system has changed to more environment-friendly material but the basic principle remains the same. The industrial evaporative cooler is now being increasingly used in big industrial settings because of their no wastage, no pollution feature as the same water is used over and over to generate cold air continuously.

The industrial evaporative air cooler or big cooler is best suited for places like greenhouses, poultry farms, dry cleaning and laundries where moderate amounts of humidity need to be maintained at all times. They are also being increasingly employed in huge commercial kitchens, warehouses of all kinds and even in sports complexes. They provide extremely cost-effective cooling in all these places by providing a steady stream of cold air throughout the building.

The central air cooling system or industrial air cooler is completely eco-friendly in its operation and is one of the best sustainable methods for cool airflow. These heavy duty cooler does not require huge energy sources for its operations and saves at least 60-70% energy in comparison with air conditioners. It creates an endless supply of fresh, cold air which is easily circulated around the buildings through ducts, hence also called duct cooler. These ducts cooler or heavy duty cooler is very user friendly and has a long shelf life with little or low maintenance over years.
